Crossroads Mall Redevelopment

DCI Group is responsible for the redevelopment of the 30-acre site in Fort Dodge, IA which houses Crossroads Mall.

The project scope involves a full abatement and demolition of the mall, along with the removal of parking and site utilities. The rebuild includes the construction of new roads, site utilities, and sanitary and water mains to service 15 future lots. The project also encompasses the installation of new electrical and gas infrastructure in coordination with Mid-American Energy. To minimize disruption for current mall tenants, the project is being executed in phases. Due to this phased approach, thorough due diligence during the planning phase was crucial to understand existing utilities and reduce construction-related disruptions to the mall.
