DCI Group is responsible for the redevelopment of the 30 acre site in Fort Dodge, IA which houses Crossroads Mall.
The project scope includes complete abatement and demolition of the mall, parking and site utilities. The build back includes new roads and site utilities, including storm, sanitary and water mains to service the 15 future lots. Installing new electrical and gas infrastructure in coordination with Mid-American Energy is also part of the project. The project is being completed in phases to allow for current mall tenants to stay open while work is ongoing. Due to the phasing, initial due diligence during the planning phase to understand existing utilities was high priority to limit disruption to the mall during construction.
