Interstate-35 CSD – School Renovations & Additions

DCI Group provided Construction Management services for two projects for the Interstate-35 Community School District.

The work included major renovations and additions to the district’s K–12 facility. Construction began in June 2017 on a new 15,000-square-foot CTE Maintenance Building, which houses wood and metal shops, classrooms, and dedicated space for maintenance staff and equipment.

A subsequent phase converted the existing wood and metal shop into a fine arts department, including choir rooms, band practice spaces for both high school and elementary students, and staff offices. The project also included construction of a new 600-seat auditorium designed for fine arts performances, school productions, and community events.

All work was completed while the school remained operational, requiring detailed logistics planning and coordination. Construction was successfully completed in Summer 2019.
