Iowa Veterans Home Fox and Ulery Residence Halls

The Iowa Veterans Home Fox and Ulery Residence Halls were completed in 2012 consisting of 180 units in two separate buildings totaling 152,000-square-feet.

The facility includes both assisted living and memory care units, designed and constructed in accordance with Federal Veterans Administration Living Center guidelines. It features 12 unit neighborhoods, each equipped with kitchens, living areas, and common spaces for residents. DCI Group served as the construction manager during the construction and closeout phases. Since the original building’s completion in 2012, DCI Group has been contracted to upgrade various aspects of the facility, including security cameras, nurse call systems, fire damper code improvements, outdoor courtyards, and an emergency paging system.
