Commencing our role as Construction Management Advisors (CMA) in March 2023, our project undertook the transformation of a prominent state-owned office building in the East Village. The construction phase commenced on October 30th, 2023, focusing initially on a full remodel of floors 2-6, with a partial remodel of the 1st floor. Each typical floor encompasses approximately 28,000 square feet, contributing to a total project area of approximately 150,000 square feet at the outset. The project’s primary objective is to revitalize office spaces, featuring comprehensive finishes, new offices, expansive open work areas, modern conference rooms, and essential office amenities.
Originally scheduled for completion in October 2024, the project’s scope expanded in response to the owner’s request. This included additional renovations to the 1st floor office space and the incorporation of 10,000 square feet of office space on the ground floor. Consequently, the revised completion target is anticipated for May 2025. This project aims not only to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the building but also to create a contemporary workspace that meets the evolving needs of its occupants and stakeholders.
