Lucas Building Office Renovation – East Village

DCI Group began serving as Construction Management Advisors for the Lucas Building in March 2023, overseeing the transformation of a prominent state-owned office building in the East Village. Construction started on October 30, 2023, initially focusing on a full remodel of floors 2-6 and a partial remodel of the first floor. Each typical floor encompasses approximately 28,000 square feet, contributing to a total project area of roughly 150,000 square feet.

The project revitalized office spaces with comprehensive finishes, new private offices, expansive open work areas, modern conference rooms, and essential office amenities. During construction, the scope expanded to include additional renovations on the first floor and the incorporation of 10,000 square feet of office space on the ground floor.

Originally scheduled for completion in October 2024, the project’s revised target for completion is May 2025. The renovation enhances the building’s functionality and aesthetics while creating a contemporary workspace designed to meet the evolving needs of its occupants and stakeholders.
