Melcher-Dallas Gymnasium Addition

Melcher-Dallas School Addition and Gymnasium

This project involved the demolition of an existing wing at the Melcher-Dallas Community School District due to structural failure, followed by construction of a 22,500-square-foot single-story gymnasium and classroom addition with a mezzanine overlooking the gymnasium.

The completed expansion includes a new gymnasium, locker rooms, a wrestling room, and a community-accessible weight room. The project also added new classrooms for art, music, vocational agriculture, and shop courses. A new administrative area was constructed to establish a secure main entrance for the school.

Throughout construction, the existing school remained fully open and operational. The project was successfully completed, delivering modernized educational and athletic spaces while minimizing disruption to daily school activities.
