Melcher-Dallas Gymnasium Addition

This project consists of the demolition of an existing wing of the Melcher-Dallas Community School District due to structural failure followed by a 22,500 square-foot gymnasium and classroom single-story addition with a mezzanine level overlooking the gymnasium.

Along with the new gym, this addition will include locker rooms, a wrestling room, and a weight room that will be open to the community. This addition will also create new classrooms for art, music, vocational agriculture, and shop classes. There will also be a new administration area that creates a new, secure main entrance to the school. The existing school will remain open and operational throughout the course of construction.
