North Polk Community School District – Career & Technology Education Facility

DCI Group worked with North Polk Community School District over a 5-year period. This Career and Technology Education Facility was the seventh project we completed for them as the Construction Manager as Agent. The CTE was an addition to their existing High School facility. The 20,000 square-foot addition included a 2,700 square-foot metal shop, 1,500 square-foot ag shop, 4,000 square-foot wood shop, and an 11,800 square-foot two-story classroom area housing five classrooms and support areas. The structure was constructed with loadbearing precast, metal roof joists, and columns. The two-story classroom area utilized structural steel with a composite deck. The project was completed in early 2025.
