DCI Group worked with the North Polk Community School District over a five-year period to complete this Career and Technology Education (CTE) Facility, the seventh project delivered for the district as Construction Manager as Agent.
The 20,000-square-foot addition expanded the existing high school and included a 2,700-square-foot metal shop, 1,500-square-foot agricultural shop, 4,000-square-foot wood shop, and an 11,800-square-foot two-story classroom area housing five classrooms and support spaces. The structure was constructed with load-bearing precast walls, metal roof joists, and columns, while the two-story classroom area utilized structural steel with a composite deck.
The project was completed in early 2025, providing modern, purpose-built educational and technical spaces to support hands-on learning and career-focused programs for students.
